Business Profile
Bombay Oxygen Corporation (BOC), promoted by S M Ruia, was incorporated in 1960. The company is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial gases. Some of the gases that the company manufactures are oxygen, nitrogen, argon and dissolved acetylene. BOC products serve clients across various industries such as steel, glass, pharmaceuticals and chemicals among others.
The company has six plants located at Mulund, Kalwe, Nagpur, Pune, Nira, Tarapur and Khopoli, all in Maharashtra.

The company disclosed fall of 3,777.34% in standalone net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 49.63 million, while total income dropped 53.18% y-o-y basis to Rs 47.66 million for the quarter ended December 2012.

Recent Developments
Bombay Oxygen Corporation announced that its board of directors has recommended for consideration of the members at the Annual General Meeting to be held on July 29, 2013 payment of dividend of Rs 5 a share.
