Business Profile
Incorporated on Jan. 8, 2007, DB Realty, is a leading realty player in the Mumbai metropolitan region. The company has been jointly promoted by Vinod K Goenka and Shahid U Balwa, whose families have been in the real estate and allied businesses since the past 25 and 95 years, respectively. DB's interests span largely across residential, mass housing and cluster redevelopment, but predominantly in and around Mumbai. As of Aug. 31, 2009, the promoters and promoter group companies had collectively developed approximately 15.9 mn sq ft, including 15.3mn sq ft of residential developable area, 0.4mn sq ft of commercial and retail developable area and 0.3mn sq ft of hospitality developable area.

The company disclosed rise of 321.66% in consolidated net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 135.50 million, while total income dropped 100.00% y-o-y basis to Rs 0.00 million for the quarter ended September 2015.

DB Realty, a real estate developer based in Mumbai, announced that its subsidiary MIG (Bandra) Realtors & Builders, is proposing to enter into a joint venture agreement with Vishwaroop Estates and Developers (Radius Group, a Sanjay Chhabria Venture) for development of MIG CHSL Group I, Ghandinagar, Bandra (E), admeasuring approximately 20,149 sq.mts. Both the parties would make investments to meet certain agreed cost lines

DB Realty announced that ECC-DB-Konark joint venture (JV), which is developing a residential project as 'DB Skypark', near T2 International Airport and next to Hilton Hotel, Sahar, Mumbai. DB Realty has an economic interest of 75% in this project.

D B Realty swung to a loss for the quarter ended March 2015. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 102.86 million compared with a profit of Rs 103.77 million in the same quarter previous year.
