Gujarat Fluorochemicals (GFL) was incorporated in 1987 by Industrial Oxygen Company Ltd (INOX) and its subsidiary,SMS Udyog, with equity participation from GIIC. In Oct '88, it came out with an issue to finance the CFC refrigerant gases and Hydro Fluoric Acid projects of capacities 5,000 and 2,200 t/y.
