KPT Industries on January 28 reported 80.20% rise in standalone net profit at Rs 18.2 million for December quarter 2020. The company had posted a profit after tax of Rs  10.1 million for the year-ago period.

Revenue from operations increased 10.12% to Rs 299.3 million in the quarter as against Rs 271.8 million in the same period a year ago.

Total expenses grew 7.58% to Rs  278.14 million for December quarter 2020 compared with Rs 258.54 million in the same period previous fiscal.

KPT Industries EPS increased to Rs 5.34 in December 2020 from Rs 2.97 in December 2019.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.95, or 1.09%, to trade at  Rs 88.  The total volume of shares traded  was 65 at the BSE (9.20 a.m., Friday).
