Bajaj Auto, one of the leading 2 and 3 wheeler makers, on August 2 reported 44% rise in total sales to 369,116 units in July 2021 as against 255,832 in the same month last year.
Total domestic sales increased by 5% to 167,273 units in July as compared to 158,976 units in July 2020.Total two-wheeler sales were up 39% at 330,569 units as compared to 238,556 units in the year-ago month.
Commercial Vehicles sales reported two- fold jump at 38,547 units in July 2021 over 17,276 units in July 2020.
Meanwhile, exports of the company reported two- fold jump to 201,843 units in the reporting month compared to 96,856 in the same month last year.
Shares of the company gained Rs 9.60, or 0.25%, to settle at Rs 3,840.65. The total volume of shares traded was 15,650 at the BSE (Monday).
