Avenue Supermarts, is an emerging national supermarket chain, with a focus on value-retailing and operates D Mart stores, is launching its initial public offering (Issue). The Issue opens on March 8, 2017 and closes on March 10, 2017, with a price band of Rs 295-Rs 299 a equity share of face value of Rs 10 each.

The Anchor Investor Bid/Issue Period shall be on March 7, 2016, i.e. one working day prior to the Bid/Issue Opening Date.
 
The company proposes to utilize the net proceeds of the Issue for repayment or prepayment of a portion of loans and redemption or earlier redemption of NCDs availed by the Company, construction and purchase of fit outs for new stores and for general corporate purposes.
