Jet Airways (India) swung to a profit for the quarter ended June 2015. During the quarter, the company reported a profit of Rs 2,217 million compared with a loss of Rs 2,176.50 million in the same quarter last year.

Revenues for the quarter rose 11.41% to Rs 52,201.10 million, compared with Rs 46,856 million for the prior year period.

Total expenses as a percent of revenues decreased to 96.89 percent from 102.51 percent in the same period last year.

Operating margin for the quarter stood at positive 2.51 percent as compared to a negative 2.51 percent for the previous year period. Operating income for the quarter was Rs 1,624.10 million, compared with an operating loss of Rs 1,174.80 million in the previous year period.

Earnings per share stood at Rs 19.52 compared with negative Rs 19.16 in the same quarter last year.
