SMC Global Securities has selected DCB Bank and Dewan Housing Corporation (DHFL) as technical picks with a time horizon of 1-2 months.

Commenting on the technical rationale on DCB Bank, SMC Global said, "The stock closed at Rs 137.90 on Jul. 10, 2015. It made a 52-week low at Rs 74.85 on Jul. 11, 2014 and a 52-week high at Rs 137.50 on Jul. 09, 2015. The 200 days Exponential Moving Average (EMA) of the stock on the daily chart is currently at Rs 111.80.

As we can see on the charts, there is sharp upside momentum since 2013. Moreover, after taking short breaks it has again started its upward journey to make new 52 week highs which are a sign of strength. One can buy in the range of 136-138 levels for the target of 150-155 levels with SL of 131 levels."

While commenting on DHFL, the stock broker said, "The stock closed at Rs 438.25 on Jul. 10, 2015. It made a 52-week low at Rs 306 on Oct. 17, 2014 and a 52-week high of Rs 569.20 on Mar. 04, 2015. The 200 days Exponential Moving Average (EMA) of the stock on the daily chart is currently at Rs 415.68.

After a marginal fall from 570 levels, it rebounded sharply from 360 levels and sustained thereafter. Moreover, it has formed Inverted head and shoulder on daily charts which is a major boost for this particular scrip and will help to reach our desired targets. One can buy above 442 levels for the target of 470-465 levels with SL of 420 levels."
