Indian Hume Pipe Company has received Letter of Acceptance for a project of contract value of Rs.1,562.7 million (excluding GST) from Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation. This project is for construction of Piped Distribution Network (PDN) for Palashi Branch Canal, Vadjal Branch Canal, on Man Canal of Urmodi Irrigation Project for creation of 11280 Ha Irrigation Potential with 5 years operation and maintenance. The project is to be completed within 18 months.

 Shares of the company gained Rs 3.90, or 2%, to trade  at  Rs 198.85.  The total volume of shares traded  was  11,009 at  the BSE (3 p.m, Friday).
