Bajaj Finserv, engaged in lending, investment, protection and advisory, along with its subsidiaries - Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company announced their plan to organize and reimburse the cost of COVID-19 vaccination for all their employees, associated staff and 3 dependent family members, over 18 years of age, across the country. The initiative is aimed at safeguarding the health of its employees and their dependent members from this second wave of Covid19 pandemic.

Commenting on the announcement, Deepak Reddy, Group HR Head, Bajaj Finserv said, 'At Bajaj Finserv, the well-being of our employees and their families is of utmost importance. We truly appreciate and recognise the efforts, showcased by all the employees during the ongoing pandemic and thank them for their continued efforts in serving the customers despite the challenges. Hence, it's imperative that we as an organisation extend them all possible support. The vaccination drive is one step towards the same.'

Bajaj Finserv also aided its employee for testing and treatment earlier. The Group is exploring tie-ups with hospitals as well as local authorities to set up in campus camps to provide the vaccination to its employees in an organised manner.

Shares of the company gained Rs 126.60, or 1.27%, to settle  at  Rs 10,125.15.  The total volume of shares traded  was  8,486 at  the BSE (Tuesday).
