NTPC commissions 150 MW unit of Kameng Hydroelectric Project

 NTPC, the country's largest power producer  on February 12 announced that it has successfully commissioned Unit-4 of 150 MW of Kameng Hydro-Electric Project (4x150 MW) of North Eastern Electric Power Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary company . This project has been declared on commercial operation with effect from  00:00 Hrs. of 12.02.2021.

With this, the commissioned and commercial capacity of NTPC group has become 64075 MW.

Shares of the company declined Rs 0.05, or 0.05%, to trade at  Rs 95.85.  The total volume of shares traded  was  397,066 at the BSE (1.05 p.m., Monday).
