The Yamuna Syndicate an India-based company engaged in trading and marketing of a wide variety of products, has acquired a major stake in ISGEC Heavy Engineering.

The company has acquired 20,000 shares (0.027%) of Rs 1 each of the heavy engineering company via open market on Dec. 29, 2020.

With this transaction, the company's shareholding increased to 44.98% from its previous holding of 44.95%.

Shares of the company declined Rs 340, or 3.64%, to settle  at  Rs 9,000.  The total volume of shares traded  was  18 at  the BSE (Thursday).
