Trident fixes record date for commercial paper worth Rs 250 mn

  Trident, leading textiles and paper manufacturers, on Thursday announced that it has fixed Nov. 26, 2020 as the record date for the redemption of commercial paper, amounting to Rs 250 million. The maturity date of commercial paper is Nov. 27,2020.

The company’s net sales declined 11.31% to Rs 11,714.4 million in the quarter ended September 2020 from Rs. 13,207.8 million in September 2019. Quarterly net profit came at Rs. 1,002.4 million in September 2020, down 26.89% from Rs. 1,371 million in September 2019.

EBITDA stands at Rs. 2,269.5 million in September 2020, down 12.37% from Rs. 2590 million in the same period last fiscal.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.15, or 1.98%, to settle  at  Rs 7.71.  The total volume of shares traded  was 3.01 million at  the BSE (Thursday).
