IDBI Bank redeems 4.25% Senior Notes worth USD 350 mn

 IDBI Bank, one the leading public sector banks, on Tuesday said it has redeemed USD 350 million senior notes, listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.

The notes, which were redeemed on Nov.30,2020, carried a coupon of 4.25%. The notes were issued under the bank’s USD 5 billion MTN (Medium Term Note) Program for an aggregate principal amount of USD 350 million together with accrued interest from the last interest payment date.

Shares of the bank gained Rs 0.55, or 1.44%, to trade at  Rs 38.65.  The total volume of shares traded  was  242,381 at the BSE (12.44 p.m., Tuesday).
