Pennar Engineered Building Systems made a poor debut on the stock exchanges on Thursday. The stock is down 5% currently after listing at a marginal discount of 0.03% to its issue price. At the NSE, stock opened at Rs 177.95 a share as against issue price of Rs 178 a share.

Currently, shares are trading at Rs 169.10, down 5% from its issue price. It recorded a high of 177.95 and a low of Rs 169.10 at the NSE (11.40 am). A total of 5,62,756 shares exchanged hands at the NSE. That translated into turnover of Rs 978.35.

Pennar Engineered Building Systems is a subsidiary of Pennar Industries, the manufacturer of engineering products. Company's core product is steel buildings which are custom designed and fabricated to every customer's requirements in accordance with the applicable standards. The fabrication of pre-engineered building components is carried out in its manufacturing facility as per detailed designs created by it and approved by the customers.
