Ahluwalia Contracts (India) bags new orders worth Rs 5.28 bn

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) announced that the company has secured new orders Rs 5.28 billion (approx) for construction of institutional and hospital building.

New orders worth of Rs 3.83 billion is for construction of Govt. Dental College & Hospital at Rahui, Dist. Nalanda (Bihar) & worth Rs 1.44 billion is for construction of Cultural Centre at Bodhgaya Bihar.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Nov. 02, 2018, rising 15.09% compared with the Sensex's 4.15% decline. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 8.12% as against 5.79% fall in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 4, or 1.28%, to trade at Rs 317.00. The total volume of shares traded was 1,790 at the BSE (11.53 a.m., Monday).
