Kalpataru Power Transmission has secured new orders of Rs 9.01 billion. These include - Turnkey order of Rs 6.43 billion for construction of 765 kV D/C transmission lines in Tamil Nadu from TANTRANSCO.
Design, supply, erection, testing & commissioning for railway electrification, including OHE and TSS works for Rs. 1.95 billion from CORE.
Orders from PGCIL & SEBs for GIS Substation and transmission line of Rs 640 million.
Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said, "We have received orders of approx. Rs 93.50 billion in the current financial year 2017-18, which is a growth of 50% compared to last financial year 2016-17. Our current year order inflow has been consistent across all sectors namely Transmission & Substation, Pipeline and Railways. We continue to focus on achieving profitable growth for 2018-19 with the current visibility of order book."
Shares of the company gained Rs 16.7, or 3.6%, to trade at Rs 480.05. The total volume of shares traded was 4,440 at the BSE (3.26 p.m., Tuesday).
