J K Lakshmi Cement swung to a profit for the quarter ended December 2016. During the quarter, the company reported a profit of Rs 76.00 million compared with a loss of Rs 5.70 million in the same quarter previous year.
Revenues for the quarter rose marginally 3.11% to Rs 7,509.20 million, compared with Rs 7,283 million for the prior year period.
Operating margin for the quarter stood at 11.01 percent as compared to 9.31 percent for the previous year period. Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 826.50 million, compared with Rs 678.1 million in the previous year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 4.18, registering 35.71% growth over previous year period.
