GPT Infraprojects (GPT), the flagship company of the GPT Group has bagged an order valued at Rs 641 million. The contract is awarded by Office of the General Manager/Con., Northeast Frontier Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati.

This contract is in Joint Venture of which GPT's order share is 51%.

The nature of contract included construction of superstructure of bridges over River Pagla at Chainage and viaduct near Pherima Station and other related works between proposed stations Sukhovi & Pherima in connection with Dimapur-Kohima New line projects.

The company has current orders in hand of nearly Rs 20,720 million including cumulative order inflow of Rs 8,220 million in the current financial year. 

Shares of the company gained Rs 2.15, or 5.25%, to settle  at  Rs 43.10.  The total volume of shares traded  was  18,043 at  the BSE (Friday).
