Tata Motors domestic PV sales rise 94% in January 2021

 Tata Motors, India's largest automobile company and leader in commercial vehicles across segments reported a growth of 94% rise in the domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales to 26,978 units in January 2021. The company had sold a total of 13,894 units in the same month previous year.

The automobile giant reported a 25.27% increase in total sales in the domestic & international market stood at 59,959 units for January 2021. The company has sold 47,862 units in the same month last year.

Total domestic sales were up 28% at 57,742 units as compared to 45,242 units in January last year.

The PV portfolio of Tata Motors includes the Tata Tiago, Tata Tigor, Tata Altroz, Tata Nexon and Tata Harrier.

Shares of the company gained Rs 8.65, or 2.68%, to settle  at  Rs 330.95.  The total volume of shares traded  was  16,247,653 at  the BSE (Wednesday).
