Sobha, India's most trusted and admired real estate brand, has reported record sales bookings of Rs 31.37 billion during the 2020-21 financial year despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Its sales bookings stood at Rs 28.80 billion in FY20. Total sales value achieved during FY21 is the highest ever in the history of the company.
"Despite of COVID-19 impact during Q1FY21, Gurugram, Kochi, Thrissur and Pune have surpassed their sales performance as compared to FY19-20. Excluding Bengaluru, other regions total contribution to overall sales volume and value is the highest in the history of the company," the Bengaluru-based firm said.
The company said new sales in Q4FY21 increased to 13,37,707 square feet compared to 9,05,710 square feet in the year-ago period.
Total sales value stood at Rs 10.72 billion in Q4FY21, up from Rs 6.94 billion in Q4FY20. However, full-year sale declined to 40,13,381 square feet from 40,71,704 square feet in FY20.
"We have achieved a total sales volume of 40,13,381 square feet valued at Rs 31.37 billion. Total sales value achieved during FY20-21 is the highest ever in the history of the company," the company said.
The company achieved 9% higher sales in value terms and 10% higher average price realisation as compared to FY2019-20.
Shares of the company gained Rs 69, or 16.05%, to settle at Rs 498.95. The total volume of shares traded was 122,650 at the BSE (Tuesday).
