Kanoi Paper & Industries (KPIL) was incorporated in 1984 under the name of BDT Business. It was promoted by Buxa Dooars Tea Co (India) and Mr. J. P. Kanoi, Mr. R. K. Kanoi and Mr. S. K. Kanoi. The name of the company was subsequently changed to the present one in 1989. KPIL produces writing, printing and industrial paper for packaging.
