New Delhi-based International Travel House (ITHL) was incorporated Jun. 29, 1981 and is member of the ITC Group. The company is engaged in travel and tourism activities. ITHL offers services ranging from air-ticketing, car rental, conference management, holiday packages and golf tourism. It has tied up with international travel giant Rosenbluth International and has entered into strategic alliances with Citibank and Diners. For its golf tourism business, the company started a golf circuit and acquired a 70% stake in Landbase India. It has a network of 34 Offices across 11 Indian cities. It operates customized branded packaged holidays like the `Wills Holidays`. ITHL has been appointed as the official travel agent for the 17th International Engineering & Technology Fair 2007. Vins Overseas India is the wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Financials
The company reported a 5.52% growth in net profits to Rs 15.30 million for the quarter ended Sep. 2006 as against Rs 14.50 million during the corresponding quarter in the previous year. Sales for this period increased 20.01% to Rs 168.50 million from Rs 140.40 million. ITHL, for the year ended Mar. 2006, had reported a 29.20% increase in sales to Rs 606.1 million as against Rs 469.1 million for the year ended Mar. 2005.
