The company was promoted by Amam Shah and Shriraj Jhaveri for the purpose of carrying on the construction business of residential and commercial complexes. The main aim of GCCL is promoting, constructing and developing residential and commercial complexes. In 2005, the company acquired land at Rakhial Circle, Ahmedabad to build an infrastructure project comprising of a residential complex, an industrial estate, a commercial complex, a hospital and educational institutions.
