GOIL has merged with IDL Industries to form Gulf Oil Corporation. The Rs 450 crore merged company is likely to come in force with effect from 14th Sept, 2002 . The swap ratio for the merger is 2:1. The merger has resulted in a diversified company with interests in infrastructure mining, chemicals and lubricants.
