RPP Infra Projects bags order from Maharashtra PWD (Public Works Department of Maharashtra) for worth of Rs 2.17 billion.

Rehabilitation and Up-gradation of existing Highway to 2 lane with paved shoulder configuration ofWardha to Arvi Km. 0+000 (Wardha) to Km. 53+708 (Arvi) NH-647 on EPC Mode in the State of Maharashtra worth of Rs 2.17 billion. The said work to be completed within 18 months.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Jul. 30, 2018, rising 2.52% compared with the Sensex's 5.85% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 17.07% as against 6.64% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 4.4, or 1.98%, to trade at Rs 226.85. The total volume of shares traded was 6,177 at the BSE (11.32 a.m., Tuesday).
