Power Grid Corporation of India, a leading power transmission company in India, has secured two electricity transmission projects under tariff-based competitive bidding norms.
The company's first project include "Transmission Systems Strengthening Scheme for evacuation of power from Solar Energy Zones in Rajasthan (8.1 GW) under Phase-II Part D."
The second project is ''Transmission Systems Strengthening Scheme for evacuation of power from Solar Energy Zones in Rajasthan (8.1 GW) under Phase-II Part-F."
Shares of the company gained Rs 6.55, or 2.85%, to settle at Rs 236.60. The total volume of shares traded was 645,316 at the BSE (Thursday).
