Shares of Panasonic Energy India Company on Wednesday gained over 1% after the company reported a 465.65% rise in its standalone net profit to Rs 37.22 million for the quarter-ended December.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 6.58 million for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Revenue from operations grew 17.25% to Rs 668.68 million for the quarter compared to Rs 570.32 million for the same period a year ago.
Total expenses increased 10.24% to Rs 626.54 million for the quarter compared to Rs 568.32 million for the same period a year ago.
Panasonic Energy India Company EPS has increased to Rs 4.96 in December 2020 from Rs 0.88 in December 2019.
Shares of Panasonic Energy India Company are trading at Rs 227.80, up Rs 2.85, or 1.27% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 11:18 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 232 and low of Rs 225. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 4,311.
In the earlier session, the shares fell 7.54%, or Rs 18.35, at Rs 224.95.
Currently, the stock is trading down 19.17% from its 52-week high of Rs 278.85 and above 147.69% over the 52-week low of Rs 91.
