Panasonic Energy India Company, is one of India's largest manufacturer & supplier of dry cell batteries and lighting products on February 9, reported a 465.65% rise in its standalone net profit to Rs 37.22 million for the quarter-ended December.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 6.58 million for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Revenue from operations of the company grew 17.25% to Rs 668.68 million for the quarter compared to Rs 570.32 million for the same period a year ago.
Total expenses increased 10.24% to Rs 626.54 million for the quarter compared to Rs 568.32 million for the same period a year ago.
Panasonic Energy India Company EPS has increased to Rs 4.96 in December 2020 from Rs 0.88 in December 2019.
Shares of the company declined Rs 18.35, or 7.54%, to settle at Rs 224.95. The total volume of shares traded was 64,785 at the BSE (Tuesday).
