NTPC declares commercial operation of Gadarwara STPS

 NTPC, the country's largest power producer announced that Unit-2 of 800 MW of Gadarwara Super Thermal Power Station (2 x 800 MW) is declared on commercial operation w.e.f 00:00 Hrs of Mar.01, 2021.
With this, the commercial capacity of NTPC and NTPC group will become 52115 MW and 64880 MW respectively.
Shares of the company gained Rs 4.5, or 4.58%, to settle at Rs 108.50. The total volume of shares traded was 13,49,450 at the BSE (Friday).
The scrip has touched a high of Rs 109.55 and low of Rs 102.05. The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 114.75 on Mar.03, 2021 and 52-week low of Rs 74 on Mar. 23, 2020 respectively.
