NTPC, the country's largest power producer has announced that its arm THDC India has commissioned a 50 MW solar power capacity in Kerala.
The plant, at the 200 MW Kasargod Solar Park, went online on Dec. 31, 2020.
With the Kasargod project, the commissioned as well as commercial capacity of THDC India and NTPC group has become 1,587 MW and 62,975 MW, respectively, NTPC said.
Shares of NTPC are trading at Rs 101.95, down Rs 0.2, or 0.20% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 12:50 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 103.55 and low of Rs 101.85. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 260,257.
Currently, the stock is trading down 14.22% from its 52-week high of Rs 125 and above 37.77% over the 52-week low of Rs 74.
