NTPC, the country's largest power producer on December 28 announced commercial operation of Dulanga Coal Mine.
"Dulanga Coal Mine of NTPC, having an ultimate peak rated annual capacity of 7 million tonnes per annum, is declared on commercial operation with effect from Oct.01, 2020," the company said on Monday.
Shares of NTPC are trading at Rs 100.35, up Rs 0.45, or 0.45% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 12 noon.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 101.50 and low of Rs 100. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 252,026.In the earlier session, the shares gained 1.37%, or Rs 1.35, at Rs 99.90.
Currently, the stock is trading down 15.57% from its 52-week high of Rs 125 and above 35.61% over the 52-week low of Rs 74..
