Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), a passenger, commercial and utility vehicles maker, on Tuesday said it will hike prices of its entire range of passenger and commercial vehicles from next month.
The company will increase the price of its range of passenger and commercial vehicles, across models from January 1, 2020, the Mumbai-based automaker said.
This has been necessitated due to the increase in commodity prices and various other input costs, it added. Details of price increase across different models will be communicated in due course, the automaker said.
Shares of the company gained Rs 13.6, or 1.89%, to settle at Rs 731.85. The total volume of shares traded was 488,078 at the BSE (Wednesday).
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 745.55 and low of Rs 726.75. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 488,078.
In the earlier session, the shares rose 1.01%, or Rs 7.15, at Rs 718.25.
The scrip touched its 52-week high Rs 764.10 and 52-week low Rs 245.80 on Aug.12, 2020 and Mar.25, 2020 respectively.
