Finolex Cables, market leader in electrical wires and cables reported a 43.56% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,469.9 million for the quarter ended December 2020. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 1,023.9 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from operations grew 18.21% to Rs 8,302.3 million in December 2020 from Rs. 7,023.6 million in December 2019.

Total expenses increased 19.15% to Rs  7,297.4 million from Rs 6,124.8 million in the same quarter previous fiscal.

Finolex Cables EPS increased to Rs 9.61 in December 2020 from Rs 6.72 in December 2019.

Shares of the company gained Rs 19.2, or 5.12%, to settle  at  Rs 394.20.  The total volume of shares traded  was  99,799 at  the BSE (Friday).
