VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), the unlisted subsidiary of Eicher Motors, one of the leading players in automobile industry, sold 2,438 units in June 2021, registering a growth of 79.5% compared with 1,358 units sold in June 2020.
VECV's total sales have increased almost twofold from 1,223 units sold in May 2021.
Eicher Motors VECV recorded 73.2% growth in total domestic sales as it stood at 1,760 units in June 2021 as against 1,016 units in June 2021.
Total exports doubled during the month to 610 units from 305 units in the same period last year.
Total sales of Eicher Trucks & Buses in the month of June 2021 was 2,370 units as compared to 1,321 units in May 2020, the company added.
Shares of the company declined Rs 17.70, or 0.66%, to trade at Rs 2,656.40. The total volume of shares traded was 11,180 at the BSE (1.07 p.m., Friday).
