On Friday, October 24, Index futures saw a trading volume of Rs 194,399.4 million arising out of 1,507,475 contracts and Index options saw 1,199,872 contracts getting traded at a notional value of Rs 188,358.9 million at the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The total turnover of the Futures & Options (F&O) segment of the Exchange was around Rs 524,766.2 million.

The top ten contracts contributed to around 28% of the total traded volume in Futures on individual securities. Reliance was the most active future contracts on individual securities traded today with 139,068 contracts and ICICI Bank was the next most active futures contracts with 85,918 contracts being traded.
