The daily turnover volume at the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX) stood at Rs 14.83 billion (one-way) with 477 members (2,126 users) participating in trading on Oct. 16, 2008 up to 5:00 p.m.

There were more than 48,156 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in among others Rape Mustard Seed, Soyabean, Guar Seed, Soyabean, Pepper and Sugar.

On October 15, 477 members (2,143 users) participated in trading and put through more than 42,001 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 11.30 p.m. was Rs 12.83 billion (one-way). Active trades were high in among others Rape Mustard Seed, Soyabean, Guar Seed, Pepper and Turmeric.
