CCCL bags Chennai Airport project worth Rs 12.12 bn

Consolidated Construction Consortium (CCCL), the Chennai headquartered engineering construction company, has bagged the Rs 12.12 billion Chennai Airport Project from Airport Authority of India (AAI), in tie up with Herve Pomerleau International, Canada.

The project has been awarded for development of Kamaraj Domestic Terminal Phase II, expansion of existing Anna International Terminal and face lifting of existing terminals at Chennai Airport, Chennai.

The company has also bagged Cargo complex project at Chennai Airport for Rs 680 million and allied services work at Tiruvananthapuram for Rs 410 million. The company has an order backlog of Rs 42.50 billion.

Shares of the company declined Rs 34.25, or 7.15%, to settle at Rs 445. The total volume of shares traded was 17 at the BSE (Friday).
