Indian equities bounced back on Tuesday snapping earlier losses. At 9.40 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 203.13 points or 0.58% at 35,154.05 with 23 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 69.75 points or 0.66% at 10,593.75 with 37 components gaining.

Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were Tata Motors (3.88%), Tata Consultancy Services (1.87%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (1.73%), Infosys (1.73%), Power Grid Corporation Of India (1.18%), and Reliance Industries (1.15%).

On the other hand, State Bank Of India (0.91%), Housing Development Finance Corporation (0.32%), ICICI Bank (0.11%), and Mahindra & Mahindra (0.06%) were the biggest losers in the Sensex.

Market breadth was positive with 912 advances against 390 declines.

Shriram Transport Finance Company topped the value chart on the BSE with a turnover of Rs. 242.10 million. It was followed by State Bank Of India (Rs. 200.89 million), PC Jeweller (Rs. 163.59 million) and Tata Motors (Rs. 139.23 million).

The volume chart was led by SBI SDFS - 90 Days - 60 - Dividend with trades of over 3.79 million shares. It was followed by PC Jeweller (1.84 million), Reliance Communications (1.07 million) and Kwality (1.04 million).
