Indian equities continued to fall for the fourth day on Monday. At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex declined 295.81 points or 0.93% at 31,626.63. Meanwhile, the broad based NSE Nifty fell by 91.80 or 0.92% at 9,872.60.

The biggest losers in the sensex were Adani Ports (3.29%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (2.24%), Lupin (2.20%), Tata Steel (2.20%) and ITC (2.18%).

On the other hand, major gainers in the 30-share index were Coal India (1.2%) and ICICI Bank (0.87%).
