Indian equities ended lower on Tuesday. At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex declined 61.16 or 0.18% at 33,856.78. Meanwhile, the broad based NSE Nifty went down by 5.45 or 0.05% at 10,426.85.
Biggest losers in the 30-share index were Tata Consultancy Services (5.22%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (1.46%), Coal India (1.02%) and NTPC (0.94%).
On the other hand, Axis Bank (2.23%), Sun Pharma (2.04%), Wipro (1.65%), Dr Reddy'S Laboratories (1.60%), Bharti Airtel (1.22%) and I C I C I Bank (1.10%) were the biggest gainers in the Sensex.
