''Indian markets are expected to open on flat note tracking the SGX Nifty and most of its Asian peers,'' according to Angel Broking. Indian shares fell sharply on Monday, as disappointing trade figures, rising oil prices and weak global cues sapped investors' appetite for risk. The controversial Land Ordinance was tabled in the Lok Sabha, as opposition members raised slogans to withdraw the bill.

''The trend deciding level for the day is 28,076 / 8,497 levels. If Nifty trades above this level during the first half-an-hour of trade then we may witness a further rally up to 28,350-28,813 / 8,571-8,694 levels. However, if Nifty trades below 28,076 / 8,497 levels for the first half-an-hour of trade then it may correct towards 27,613-27,339 / 8,374-8,300 levels,'' , it added.
