Indian markets are likely to open with positive bias tracking the SGX Nifty, said Angel Broking in its report.

Following the strength seen in the previous session, US market turned in a lackluster performance during trading on Wednesday. The major averages eventually finished the day on opposite sides of the unchanged line. The choppy trading on Wall Street came as traders seemed reluctant to make any significant moves amid continued uncertainty about President Donald Trump's policy agenda following the failure of the Republican health care bill.

The European markets ended Wednesday's session with modest gains. The markets got off to a positive start, but pared their gains ahead of today's announcement from the U.K. Traders reacted to the news that Article 50 had been triggered with relative calm in the afternoon.
