Indian markets are likely to open with positive bias tracking the SGX Nifty & Asian markets, said Angel Broking in its report.

After initially showing a lack of direction, US market moved mostly higher over the course of the trading session on Tuesday. With the upward move on the day, the Dow snapped an eight-session losing streak. The strength on Wall Street came following the release of a report from the Conference Board showing an unexpected improvement in consumer confidence in the month of March.

The European markets fluctuated between small gains and losses in early trade Tuesday, but definitively entered positive territory in the afternoon. Concerns over the ability of the Trump administration to implement its policies began to ease following the failure of the healthcare reform bill late last week.
