Oil prices fall to USD 69.31 a barrel

Oil prices fell on Wednesday despite another decline in crude supply, with lingering doubts about whether people and businesses will be using more energy anytime soon.

Light sweet crude for August delivery fell 58 cents to settle at USD 69.31 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Gasoline fell 4.3 cents to settle at USD 1.859 a gallon and heating oil for August delivery lost 2.2 cents to settle at USD 1.7657 a gallon.

Natural gas for August delivery fell 4 cents to USD 3.795 per million British thermal units.

In London, Brent prices fell 51 cents to USD 68.79 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.
