Vardhman Textiles, a major integrated textile producer in India on January 21 reported a 14.38% decline in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended Dec.31, 2020.

The company has earned Rs 1,705.2 million in the third quarter compared with Rs 1,991.7 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Net sales of the company for the quarter decreased by 4.12% to Rs 17,501 million compared to Rs 18,252.1 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Total Expenses dropped by 8.16% to Rs 15,882.2 million in the quarter ended December 2020 as against Rs 17,293.1 million during the previous quarter ended December 2019.

Vardhman Textiles EPS has decreased to Rs 29.97 in December 2020 from Rs 34.94 in December 2019.

Shares of the company declined Rs 3.30, or 0.31%, to trade  at  Rs 1,057.  The total volume of shares traded  was  1,280 at  the BSE (3:17 p.m, Friday).
