Indian markets bounced back on Friday snapping earlier losses. At 1.15 p.m., the Sensex was trading up 154.76 points or 0.35% at 43,754.72 with 17 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 32.65 points or 0.26% at 12,804.35 with 26 components gaining.
Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were Bajaj Finserv (5.42%), Titan (4.24%), Nestle (2.58%), Kotak Mahindra Bank (2.47%), Tech Mahindra (2.46%), NTPC (2.01%) and Bajaj Finance (1.79%).
On the other hand, Reliance Industries (2.67%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (1.87%), Axis Bank (1.72%), Indusind Bank (1.61%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (0.83%), and Hindustan Unilever (0.79%) were the major losers in the Sensex.
Market breadth was negative with 1,346 advances against 1,182 declines.
