Indian markets bounced back in early trade on Friday snapping earlier losses. The 30-share benchmark index, BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 132.18 points or 0.30% at 43,732.14, while the broad based NSE Nifty started with a rise of 41.70 points or 0.33%, at 12,813.40.
At 11.10 a.m., the Sensex was trading up 16.28 points or 0.04% at 43,616.24 with 14 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 29 points or 0.23% at 12,742.70 with 29 components falling.
Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were Bajaj Finserv (3.66%), Titan (2.92%), Nestle (2.87%), Tech Mahindra (1.67%), NTPC (1.50%) and HCL Technologies (1.45%).
On the other hand, Indusind Bank (3.01%), Reliance Industries (2.22%), Axis Bank (2.20%), State Bank Of India (1.98%), ICICI Bank (1.44%), and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (1.32%) were the major losers in the Sensex.
Market breadth was negative with 1,237 advances against 1,230 declines.
