Bajaj Auto, one of the leading 2 and 3 wheeler makers, announced a rise of 17% in sales to 502,009 units in September 2018 compared to 428,752 units sold in the same period last year.
The company's domestic sales increased to 311,503 units from 281,779 units sold in September 2017.
The company's exports up 30% to 190,506 units in September 2018 from 146,973 units sold in September 2017.
Shares of the company declined Rs 11.7, or 0.44%, to trade at Rs 2,675.40. The total volume of shares traded was 23,611 at the BSE (11.52 a.m., Monday).
