Indian equities ended flat on Monday. At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex added 39.80 or 0.11% at 35,483.47. Meanwhile, the broad based NSE Nifty went up by 19.30 or 0.18% at 10,786.95.

Major gainers in the 30-share index were Bharti Airtel (3.19%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (1.29%), Dr Reddy'S Laboratories (0.90%), Maruti Suzuki India (0.84%), Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (0.74%), and Tata Power Company (0.71%).

On the other hand, Tata Steel (1.79%), Power Grid Corporation Of India (1.21%), Coal India (0.72%), Hero Motocorp (0.61%), ICICI Bank (0.54%), and HDFC Bank (0.24%) were the major losers in the Sensex.
